TVS-2

The Axometrics TVS-2, tunable visible source includes a 100W low-noise Xe lamp and scanning monochromator, and is designed to seamlessly integrate with all Axometrics polarimeter systems (AxoScan™ and AxoStep™). The source sit on a desktop or can be mounted into a standard 19" rack.

The source includes an aberration-corrected holographic concave grating on motorized turret, a motorized filter wheel with included order-sorting filters, a mechanical shutter, and control electronics. The TVS-2 is directly controlled by all Axometrics software through either a serial (RS-232) or TCP/IP interface.

A precision aligned lamp is provided and can be installed from the front side, without needing to remove the source from your system and without any need for alignment by the user. Replacement lamps (model TVS-2-LAMP) can be ordered from Axometrics.
